Ing. Jan Nemrava
Hi, I am currently in the third year of PhD programme on Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at the University of Economics, Prague. I am working at the Department of Information and Knowledge Engineering as a part-time researcher and as an internal PhD. I did my Master Degree on Faculty of Management in Jindøichùv Hradec where I chose Management of Information as a main branch and Health Care Management as the secondary branch.
The main task for me as an employee is to handle some issues of K-Space EU IST project. Particulary Dissemination, Evaluation and Complementary Resources Analysis, which is going to be my main task during my second 5 month stay at DFKI (German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence) in Saarbruecken. My main research interests are web mining, more specifically refining user queries based on usage of linguistic patterns. See list of my publications for more details.
I have many interests mainly from IT and automotive branch. From sports I like to play ricochet, I ski and swim, cycle and I like canoeing. In the remaining time I try to create web pages and take (and publish) pictures from my journeys see the gallery.
